HOTEL ISABEL

CDMX  |  CENTRO HISTORICO

HISTORY

It is a hotel with history characterized by its architectural beauty since it is a building from the mid-nineteenth century and until now it retains its original structure.

At first it was a two-story hacienda, the rooms were so large that once it was converted into a one-bedroom hotel it was divided into two spacious rooms.

It is one of the oldest and most traditional hotels, once it was decided to convert the hacienda into a hotel, the third and fourth floors were added, this is why when observing the facade, the architectural style is different from the first and second floors compared to the third and fourth in which no balconies but windows were added.

It was the home of the great historian, industrialist and politician Don Lucas Alamán, who died on this site on June 2, 1853
